BIRD, TURTLE AND MANATEE WATCHING
From May to October Anna Maria Island becomes a giant nursery as hundreds of sea turtles come ashore to nest. Anna Maria Island is one of many places that sea turtles nest on the beaches. If you find anyone harassing a sea turtle or a sea turtle nest please call the FFWCC at 800-342-5367.
